ELSAH, Ill. – The UMN Morris women's swimming & diving team competed on day three of the Liberal Arts Championships Friday.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Caitlin Papke finished fifth in the 400-yard IM with her time of 5:02.52.
- Carolyn Curtis placed ninth in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:02.39.
- Liz Melssen tallied an eighth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:09.36.
- The 100-yard breaststroke saw Claire Naslund take 15th with her time of 1:20.26.
- Ahnika Vininski tallied a time of 1:06.19 to place eighth in the 100-yard backstroke.
With 27 events in the books, the Cougars are seventh place with 218 points.
The Cougars conclude the 2020 Liberal Arts Conference Championships on Saturday, Feb. 15. The final day of action gets underway at 10 a.m.
