Cougar basketball fans, don't miss out on your chance for free admission to Jim Gremmels Court when Minnesota, Morris hosts Valley City State on Dec. 17.

It will be Maroon and Gold Night in the P.E. Center, and in honor of our favorite colors, as well as the connection with the 2010-11 Cougar basketball teams and the local high schools, any fan wearing any maroon and gold apparel will receive free admission to the Cougars and Vikings on Friday, Dec. 17.

In their last games before the semester break, the women will tip-off first at 5:30 p.m., with the met set to follow immediately after.

There are currently five total men's and women's basketball players from nearby maroon and gold high schools Benson and Hancock, so fans, come out in your gear and get in free!

Also on Dec. 17, as well as at this weeks match-up with Mayville State on Friday, Dec. 10, all fans who brings a non-perishable food item to donate, will receive a ticket for a free box of popcorn at the game.

All food donations will go to the local food shelf to help people in need this holiday, and winter season.

If you cannot make it to the games on the 10th or 17th but would still like to donate, you can bring your non-perishable food items to the athletic office in room 225 in the P.E. Center.

Don't miss out on great basketball action on Jim Gremmels Court in the upcoming weeks. Wear anything maroon and gold on Dec. 17 and get in free, and bring a food item to donate on Dec. 10 or 17 and get a free box of popcorn.

See you at the game!
