University of Minnesota Morris Athletics

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is a collaboration of student athletes who work together to create a presence of student-athletes within the community, school, and Special Olympics community.

We hold unified events through our partnership with Special Olympics Minnesota (SOMN) and this has allowed us to become a champion’s school which only one other school has in our league. 

Our main goal is to grow connections between UMM Student-Athletes and the community of Morris, the Special Olympics community, and non-student-athletes.

Each year, we seek student-athletes who are interested in representing their sport and making a difference within the community.
