The second in a three-game homestand for the Minnesota Morris men's basketball team, they will host
Saint John's at 7:00 p.m. on Dec. 15.
The Cougars opened the home stretch in a big way, winning 85-51 over Mayville State on Dec. 9, their most dominating win of the year. The last time these two teams met was on Dec. 12, 2007, also in Morris, with the visiting Johnnies coming away with an 81-65 win.
The Records: The Cougars enter with a 2-4 record on the season, charting both wins at home. The Johnnies come to Morris with a 4-3 mark on the year, but are just 0-3 away from Collegeville.
Storyline: After a run of quality NAIA competition, the Cougars get a reprieve with fellow Division III foe Saint John's. The Cougars fell to the only other MIAC team they faced this season, dropping a decision to Concordia-Moorhead in the second game of the season. The Johnnies meanwhile will be looking to stay perfect against UMAC competition, having already beaten St. Scholastica and Martin Luther, but must get their first road win to do so.
