The Cougar men's and women's basketball teams take on Valley City State on the road this evening (Dec. 7), playing for just the second time in the last two weeks. The
women tip-off first at 5:30 p.m., with the
men right after at 7:30.
The Morris women enter the game at 2-3, and will take on a 5-8 Valley City State squad. The UMM men sit at 1-3, and are tasked with a 6-4 VCSU team.
Last season, the teams played a home and home schedule with the Viking women sweeping the Cougars. In Morris on Dec. 17, the Valley City State won
93-88, before completing the sweep with a
76-52 win at home on Jan. 4. The Cougar men split with the Vikings, with each team winning at home. In the first meeting in Morris on Dec. 17, the Cougars pulled out an
87-76 victory, before the Vikings turned the tables on Jan. 4 in Valley City with a
77-67 win.
