After splitting a pair of games in their last home stand, the Minnesota Morris Men's basketball team will head north to take on Northland and St. Scholastica. The Cougars will take on the Lumberjacks Friday (Jan. 27) night at 7:30 p.m. and the Saints on Saturday (Jan. 28) afternoon at 5:00 p.m.
The Cougars are coming off a win against Trinity Bible College in non-conference play (74-62) and also split games with Martin Luther (79-59) and Bethany Lutheran (75-79 OT) last weekend.
Last season the Cougars were able to take down the Lumberjacks both times including an 89-51 win coming at home and an 88-74 win in Ashland, Wis.
Last year against St. Scholastica, Morris played two of their closest games all season long. However, the Cougars were able to defeat the Saints 73-68 and 76-73 in both of their meetings.
