Box Score MORRIS, Minn. – Four of five starters were in double figures on Saturday afternoon as the Cougars (7-7, 5-0 UMAC beat North Central (4-10, 1-4 UMAC) 75-59.
Emily Mehr had 23 points and six rebounds to lead the offense.

Abby Fragodt had a career high 15 points and Kayla Kramer had 11 points. Minnesota Morris shot 49.1% on the afternoon and held NCU to 38.3%.
UMM started off the game on a 7-0 run thanks to four points from Kramer and three from
Emily Mehr. North Central responded with a run of their own and tied the game up at nine with 14:40 left in the first half. Wycoff quickly gave the Cougars the lead back hitting three pointers on back to back possessions. Once again NCU responded and tied it up before taking a two point lead, their first of the game.
North Central took their largest lead of the game at the 8:38 mark of the first half, leading 20-17. The Cougars tied the game at 22 and got the lead back as Kramer hit a three moments later. The Cougars finished the first half on 12-2 run to take a 31-24 lead into the locker room.. Morris did not let the Rams make a shot from the field from the 7:30 mark until they hit a shot as the first half buzzer sounded.
Minnesota Morris kept the pressure on as the second half started as they increased their lead to 12 at 37-25. NCU closed the gap to nine but Morris responded by going on a 15-5 run to take a 58-39 lead with 10:10 left in the game. It was the largest lead of the game for the Cougars as the Rams never responded. The closest the Rams would get would be at 66-55 with 4:42 left but it was a little too late as the Cougars picked up the 75-59 win.
Morris will be back at home on Tuesday night as the host Trinity Bible at 5:30 p.m.
