MORRIS, Minn. – The Cougars (16-7, 10-0 UMAC) have already wrapped up the UMAC regular season title but the work is not done for the team with one weekend left in the conference schedule. Minnesota Morris will host Bethany Lutheran (7-16, 5-7 UMAC) on Friday and Martin Luther (10-13, 8-4 UMAC) on Saturday. The Cougars will honor seniors

Kelsey Erickson on Saturday.

In addition, Saturday's match-up with the Knights is the UMAC game of the week. The Knights almost knocked off the Cougars in their last meeting, as UMM picked up a 60-59 win on the road.
Minnesota Morris is riding a 14 game win streak in to the weekend. During this streak the Cougars are outscoring opponents 72.7-48.5.
Earlier this season the Cougars beat the Vikings 86-74 on the road. Five players scored in double figures in the game led by
Emily Mehr and
Kendra Wycoff who each had 18 points. UMM shot 54.1% from the field and held BLC to 41.0% shooting in the win.
Against the Knights the Cougars shot just 33.3% from the field, it was their lowest mark during a UMAC conference game this season. The difference in the game was the Cougars making two more free throws than the Knights, including two my Mehr with five seconds left to give Minnesota Morris the 60-59 win.
