Box Score MORRIS, Minn. - Kendra Wycoff broke a school record with nine made three pointers of Friday night as the Cougars (17-7, 11-0 UMAC) ran away from Bethany Lutheran (7-17, 5-8 UMAC) 104-42. Wycoff finished with career high 33 points on the night as she shot 12-21 from the field. As a team the Cougars hit 17 of 33 three point attempts as five Cougars hit a three pointer of the night.
Emily Mehr had 21 points,
Kayla Kraemer had 16 and
Kelsey Erickson had 10 points. Erickson also added seven rebounds and eight assists before existing with 4:44 left in the game.
Abby Fragodt had 11 rebounds and four points. The Cougars outscored BLC 36-12 in points in the paint on Friday night.
The Cougars scored the first eight points of the game and then leading 12-5 would go on a 12-0 run to take a commanding 24-5 lead with 11:18 left in the game. The lead would grow as large as 34 as
Emily Auch hit a lay-up with 28 seconds left in the half. The Cougars led 52-18 at the break. Mehr had 16 to lead the team at the break and Wycoff had 15. Erickson had seven rebounds and six assists in the first half.
Wycoff caught fire midway through the half and hit a three pointer on three straight possessions to give UMM an 81-23 lead with 11:27 left in the game.
Leah Peterson swished a three pointer with 3:52 left in the game putting the Cougars over the century mark.
Minnesota Morris will finish off the regular season tomorrow as they host Martin Luther at 3 p.m. It will be the final regular season game in the P.E. Center for
