MORRIS, Minn. – The Cougars (1-4) will head to Mayville State on Tuesday night to take on the Comets in their last game of a four game road trip. Minnesota Morris has dropped the first three games on their road trip.
In five games this season the Cougars have had three different leading scorers.
RJ Dean has led the team in scoring three times this season. He also leads the team with 12 points per game.
Neil Helgeson is second on the team in scoring with 11.4 points per game.
CD Douglas is also averaging double figures through five games, scoring 10.2 points per contest.
Mayville State has won three straight contests and is 4-3 on the year. They are coming off a win over Waldorf College on Saturday night in Mayville.
Last season the Cougars won both games against the Comets, winning by a total of seven points. They took down Mayville 80-75 on the road and then won 74-72 at home. Minnesota Morris has won four straight matchups against the Comets, dating back to 2011.
