MORRIS, Minn. – The Minnesota Morris (14-9, 11-1 UMAC) need one victory this weekend to win sole possession of the 2014 UMAC Championship. They head out on the road to take on Bethany Lutheran (8-15, 5-7 UMAC) and Martin Luther (12-11, 9-3 UMAC) as they wrap conference play.

The Cougars have already clinched the number one seed in the UMAC Tournament and will host a first round game next Wednesday in the P.E. Center. The opponent and time of the game will not be set until after this weekend's play but the opponent will be; St. Scholastica, Martin Luther or Northwestern. All three teams are tied with a 9-3 record in UMAC play.
 
Last weekend Minnesota Morris went on the road and picked up a pair of victories, extending their winning streak to a season high eight games. Rebounding has been a big part of the Cougars success in the UMAC this season. They rank 32
nd in the nation in rebounding margin, averaging 8.3 more rebounds than their opponent this season.
