MORRIS, Minn. – The Minnesota Morris (2-9) women's basketball team opens up UMAC play tomorrow afternoon as they host Crown College (0-11) at 3 p.m. Morris is looking to put an end to a four game losing streak.
Despite a 2-9 record this season the Cougars have been outscored by just 13 points all season. Their average margin of loss is 1.2 through the first half of the year.
Kendra Wycoff has led the team with 14.8 points per game.
Emily Auch is second on the team with 11.0 points per game and
Tori Holt is third with 10.0 points per game.
The Cougars defense is forcing 18.5 turnovers per game this year, something they will try to continue against Crown, who is averaging 27.7 turnovers per game.
Crown is scoring just 40.5 points per game do have a tandem that is responsible for nearly 50% of their scoring on the season.
