MORRIS, Minn. – Minnesota Morris basketball will head to Mayville State for a pair of games on Friday night in Mayville. This is the second meeting between the two teams this season. Earlier this year the UMM women fell 89-74 and the men won 80-74 in Morris. The women play at 5:30 before the men tip off around 7:30 p.m.
 
The women's team is coming off a come from behind win over North Central and a tough overtime loss to Northwestern last weekend on the road. The men fell twice on the road to the same teams.
 
Since beating Morris the Comets are 2-1 including a close 57-56 win over Ashford University five days ago. The men's team is riding a three game losing streak including the loss to Morris.
 
This is the final game for the Cougars before the mid semester break. The women are next in action on December 29 at home against St. Ben's. The men are off until January 2 when they host Wisconsin-Superior.
