MORRIS, Minn. - The Cougars (15-11) forced 16 turnovers and held St. Scholastica (14-12) to just 29.5% from the field, in an 82-55 win in the UMAC Semifinals.
Emily Auch led the team with a game high 19 points and grabbed ten rebounds.
Tori Holt added 16 and
Kendra Wycoff had 13 points.

Minnesota Morris was able to take a nine point lead over the Saints, opening the game on a 15-6 run. Scholastica cut it down to two at 15-13 near the midway point of the half and then tied the ballgame at 18 all. The Cougars would never surrender the lead and with the game tied at 20, Morris went on one of their best runs of the season. In the final 7:45 of the first half, UMM went on a 20-3 run, taking a 17 point lead in to the locker room.

Wycoff led the Cougars with ten points in the first 20 minutes of play. Auch added nine points and five assists. Holt had six points and six rebounds.

The Saints would never recover from the run and Morris continued to pull away. The lead would get as large as 27 in the game. The Cougars would shoot 72% from the field in the second half. Holt had ten second half points. Minnesota Morris would get scoring from all 11 players that hit the floor on the night. The Cougars bench accounted for 28 points, led by
Bailey Nordean.
Connor Lewis filled up the stat sheet again; she grabbed eight rebounds, dished out five assists and scored four points.

Morris will travel to take on Northwestern at 5 p.m. in the UMAC Championship game on Saturday.
