MORRIS, Minn. – Minnesota Morris will take on Crown College on Saturday as they begin the second trip around the UMAC. Currently the men sit in fourth place with a 5-3 record. The women have some work to do, sitting in a tie for sixth, one game behind St. Scholastica. The rest of the conference will play back-to-back games this weekend.
MEN In their first match up of the season the Cougars edged Crown 109-105 in overtime.
CD Douglas tied a school record with 35 points in the game. UMM will have to try and stop Austin VanDerHeyden this time around. In the first game VanDerHeyden had a double-double by half and finished with 23 points and 15 rebounds.
NOTES:- UMM is searching for their fifth straight UMAC win on Saturday.

WOMEN The Morris Cougars are hoping to carry over some momentum from their win over Presentation on Monday night. The offense broke out for 81 points, their highest total in 2015. In the early season game with Crown, UMM won 75-58.
Kayla Kraemer led UMM with 13 points. Morris held Crown to just 28.8% shooting all night.
NOTES:- Morris turned the ball over just six times vs Presentation, tying a season low.
