MORRIS, Minn. – Minnesota Morris (9-10, 5-6 UMAC) was able to take care of North Central (5-14, 1-10 UMAC) with a 76-62 win. Morris made nine three pointers on the night, finishing 9-22 from behind the arc.

Mauren Thiesen and 
Maja Coomes each had three made three pointers in the game. 
Kraemer and 
Kendra Raths each had 15 points on the night. 
Tori Holt had 13 points and ten rebounds. Thiesen and Coomes each had nine points off the bench. Morris finished with 32 points in the paint. 
The first quarter was very competitive with the Rams hitting some big shots to stay with Morris. The quarter ended with the score tied at 17. North Central took a two point lead early in the second quarter but the Cougars would go on a 10-0 run to take a 28-21 lead. The lead would extend to 15 in the quarter as Morris finished the ten minutes outscoring the Rams 22-11 in the second quarter. 
North Central made it game in the third quarter, pulling within five at 49-44. Morris kept the Rams from getting within a possession and took a 58-54 lead into the final quarter. Early in the fourth quarter Morris built the lead to 14 after a jumper from 
Tori Holt. North Central never recovered and Morris picked up the win. 
Next week the Cougars go north for big games against St. Scholastica and Wisconsin-Superior.
