Four Game Road Trip Starts Tomorrow

MORRIS, Minn. – The Minnesota Morris basketball teams will be on the road for the next four games, starting Friday with games against St. Scholastica. On Saturday, Morris will take on Wisconsin-Superior. The UMAC season is down to just six games and both the men and women have plenty to play for.

MEN

After a 1-3 start to the UMAC season the Cougars have won six of their last seven conference games and now sit in a tie for third place with six games to go. They can move into a tie for second with a win over St. Scholastica tomorrow night. Back on January 3, UMM took down the Saints 91-75 to spark their reemergence in the conference. On Saturday they will look to avenge an 85-74 loss to Wisconsin-Superior.

CD Douglas continues his strong play and is now averaging 21.1 points per game. He has failed to score 20 points just three times during UMAC play. Tyler Ukkelberg, Joe Roggenbuck, Noah Grove, John Haseman and Anthony Fisher are all averaging over eight points per game.

  • John Haseman has scored at least ten points in five of the last six games.
