NEW ULM, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris women's tennis team kept rolling on Thursday afternoon with a 9-0 victory at Martin Luther College. The Cougars improve to 5-1 (2-0 UMAC) ahead of their home opener next week.

Kate Obright and
Kiley Rodarmel at No. 1 doubles and
Abby Burquest and
Sam Tate at No. 2 doubles then made it 4-0 in favor of the Cougars after a pair of 8-4 victories.
The match-clinching point came courtesy of
Megan Tschida at No. 5 singles with a 6-3, 6-1 win to put the Cougars on top, 5-0. UMN Morris finished off the match with four more straight-set wins. Obright was a 6-2, 6-0 winner at No. 1, Tate delivered a 6-4, 6-1 triumph at No. 2, Rodarmel also was a 6-4, 6-1 winner at No. 3, and
Megan Arens had a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 4.
