MINNEAPOLIS – The University of Minnesota Morris women's track & field team sent a small contingent to the University of Minnesota's Running on Hope Open on Wednesday.
The top individual finish of the afternoon came from
Kassidy Siedow in the javelin throw with a distance of 107-11 (32.89m) that placed ninth overall. The only other field event for Minnesota Morris on Wednesday was the long jump where
Maggie Landwer posted a distance of 13-6.75 (4.13m).
The Cougars had runners in four events on the track. Top times in those races came from
Grace Hambike in the 100 Meter Dash (13.20),
Nibras Luqman in the 200 Meter Dash (28.17),
Abby Hachmeister in the 400 Meters (1:16.14), and
Taylor Prieve in the 1,500 Meters (5:56.01).
Minnesota Morris goes to Moorhead on Saturday for its final meet prior to the UMAC Championships, taking part in the Ron Masanz Classic at Minnesota State University-Moorhead beginning at 10 a.m.
