MORRIS, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Morris Men's Soccer team had five athletes who found homes on All-Conference teams at the conclusion of the 2024 season.
Hailing from Nerstrand, Minn. and making his collegiate soccer debut this season, Mackall secured his spot on the All-Conference Second Team. Mackall played in nineteen games on the season, making eighteen starts. He totaled up 1,477 minutes in those nineteen games. Mackall scored ten goals for the Cougars, shooting 0.418% on net over the season. He also assisted in five goals for Minnesota Morris to earn 25 total points in 2024. Jones, a Mankato, Minn. native, was the next Cougar to earn a spot on the Second Team. Starting nineteen games for Minnesota Morris, Jones played a total of 1,540 minutes. He scored five goals and added on two assists, earning a 0.500 shots on goal percentage on the season. Isensee was the third and final Cougar to find a home on the All-Conference Second Team. The Shakopee, Minn. native started all twenty games for Minnesota Morris, totaling up 1,771 minutes in goal. Isensee made a total of 143 saves on the season, shattering the single-season saves record for Men's Soccer and averaging 7.15 saves per game.
Cade Simonson, a sophomore from Champlin, Minn., earned his spot on the All-Conference Honorable Mention team this season with twenty starts for the Cougars. Simonson was a defensive force for Minnesota Morris this season, totaling up 1,755 out of an available 1,800 minutes. He also earned an assist and two shots on goal.
Azariah Zappette, another Cougar making his collegiate debut this season, was named to the All-Sportsmanship team for the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference.
