BUFFALO LAKE, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Morris Men's Golf team finished fourth out of seven teams at the Martin Luther College Invite.
Leading the Cougar's scoring on the day, Matthias Warrington snagged fifth place while shooting 76. Gaven Brown took second on the team, shooting 78 and tying for eighth place. Just two points behind his teammate, Aaron Nack shot 80 and tied for fourteenth. Rounding out the scoring for Minnesota Morris, Gabe Long and Jacob Steinmetz shot 86 and 88 respectively.
The two non-scoring members for the Cougars were Nick Thompson and Jack Mahoney. Thompson shot 96 on the day while Mahoney finished with a score of 102.
The Cougars will compete in the UMAC Championship on Oct. 3-5 to finish the fall season.
