COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Morris men's track & field team came away from today's meet with a fifth place finish overall. The Cougars look to continue their indoor season at the Mark Schuck Open and Multi Jan. 31 - Feb. 1 amidst a tough field of competition. 

Izayah Boss did what he does and finished third in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.12 to kick things off for the Cougars. He also finished fifth in the 200 meter dash with a 23.73 to keep the scoring rolling. 

Sam Gifford raced a 54.23 in the 400 meter dash to earn sixth place while Azariah Zappetta took eighth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:12.78. 

Evan Barnett marked a jump of 5-10.75 (1.80m) in the high jump to reel in a fifth place finish. Mason Arens finished just behind Barnett with a just of 5-7.00 (1.70m) to take seventh place.
