Track and Field Announce its 2025-26 Schedule

MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's and women's track and field teams will compete in eight indoor meets and six outdoor meets during the 2025-26 campaign. Head Coach Will Campbell enters his second season leading both programs.
 
"I am excited for the upcoming season after seeing all the hard work we are putting in," said head coach Campbell. "I cannot wait to see how our young women's throws group keeps the momentum going from last year and the growth of the rest of the team."
 
The Cougars kick off the season at the Chuck Petersen Open on Dec. 5 in Mankato, Minn. The next time the teams are in action is Jan. 17 at the Ole Opener in Northfield, Minn., hosted by St. Olaf College. The following week, UMM travels to Collegeville, Minn., for a meet hosted by Saint John's University.
 
Minnesota Morris returns to Northfield, Minn., for the St. Olaf Invitational and Multi on Jan. 30-31. The following week, the Cougars will compete in their largest indoor meet of the year — the Gopher Classic in Minneapolis, Minn.
 
On Feb. 20, UMM heads back to Mankato, Minn., for the Maverick Open. The Cougars wrap up the indoor season at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Championship, held Feb. 27-28 at the Dr. Lydia C. Thering Fieldhouse in Superior, Wis.
 
One month later, the outdoor season gets underway at the Optimist Meet in Collegeville, Minn., on March 28. On April 4, Minnesota Morris heads east for a meet at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minn.
 
The following week, the Cougars compete at the Maverick Open, hosted by Minnesota State University, Mankato. Coming down the stretch, UMM will take part in the College of St. Benedict/St. John's University Invite and the Rider/Bolstorff Invitational on April 18 and 26, respectively.
 
On May 1-2, the Cougars will compete in the UMAC Championship, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
