Mark Your Calendars: Cougar Women’s Basketball 2025-26 Schedule is Here!

MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris women's basketball team has announced its 2025-26 schedule, featuring 25 games overall, including 10 contests at James Gremmels Court. Head Coach Tim Grove enters his 20th season leading the program.
 
The Cougars will open the 2025-26 season at the College of St. Benedict Tip-Off Tournament on Nov. 7, taking on the host, St. Benedict, at 8:15 p.m., followed by a matchup with the College of St. Scholastica the next day at 1 p.m. Minnesota Morris will host its home opener against Macalester College on Nov. 10, with tipoff set for 7 p.m.
 
Continuing the week, the Cougars travel to Moorhead, Minn., for a game against Concordia College (Minn.) on Nov. 12 at 5:30 p.m. They return home on Nov. 14 to face St. Catherine University at 7 p.m.
 
Minnesota Morris then begins a stretch of road games, starting with Division II Bemidji State University on Nov. 17 at 6 p.m., followed by a matchup with Trinity Bible College the next day at 5:30 p.m. The Cougars then head from North Dakota to Wisconsin to face the University of Wisconsin–River Falls on Nov. 22 at 1 p.m. The following week, UMM returns to Wisconsin for a 2 p.m. tipoff against the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire on Nov. 29.
 
Before the winter break, the Cougars host Concordia (Minn.) again on Dec. 1 at 5:30 p.m., and welcome Trinity Bible College on Dec. 8 for another 5:30 p.m. contest. After the break, UMM will participate in the UW-Oshkosh BSN Winter Classic. They'll take on the host school, UW-Oshkosh, on Dec. 28 at 3:30 p.m., and wrap up the classic the following day with a game against Ripon College at 1 p.m.
 
As the calendar turns to 2026, the Cougars begin Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) play, which will consist of 12 games—home and away matchups with each UMAC opponent. Conference play begins on Jan. 7, as UMM travels to Martin Luther College for a 5:30 p.m. tip. A week later, the Cougars host North Central University at 5:30 p.m.
 
Minnesota Morris then hits the road for two games: at the University of Northwestern on Jan. 17 at 1 p.m., and at Crown College on Jan. 21 at 5:30 p.m. The Cougars close out the first half of conference play with home games against the University of Wisconsin–Superior on Jan. 24 at 3 p.m., and Bethany Lutheran College on Jan. 28 at 5:30 p.m.
 
In the second half of UMAC action, the Cougars return to James Gremmels Court to host Crown College on Feb. 4 at 5:30 p.m., followed by Northwestern on Feb. 7 at 1 p.m. UMM travels to Minneapolis to face North Central University on Feb. 11 at 5:30 p.m. The Cougars play their final scheduled home game on Feb. 14, hosting Martin Luther College at 3 p.m.
 
Minnesota Morris will conclude the regular season with two road games—at Bethany Lutheran on Feb. 18 at 5:30 p.m., and at UW–Superior on Feb. 21 at 3 p.m.
 
The top four teams in the UMAC will advance to the UMAC Tournament. Semifinals are scheduled for Feb. 25, followed by the championship game on Feb. 28.
