WINTHROP, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's cross country team finished sixth out of seven teams at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Championship. Five Cougar runners set new personal bests at the Winthrop Golf Course.
"I am so proud of the whole team-we had a ton of fun today and it showed in how we performed," said head coach
Caroline Collet. "I'd like to thank all of our runners for making my first XC Conference meet with the Cougars one to remember!"
The University of Wisconsin–Superior won the conference championship, with its top five runners all finishing in the top six. Dylan Uitto of UWS recorded the best overall time at 26:18.1. The Cougars took sixth place, led by
Noah Johnson, who ran a personal-best 28:52.6 to finish 16th.
