MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's basketball team opens the 2025-26 campaign by hosting the College of St. Scholastica on Friday night at 7 p.m. at James Gremmels Court.

The Cougars are coming off an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship after going 10-4 in conference play and 13-13 overall. Head Coach
Paul Grove enters his 24th season and is coming off a UMAC Coach of the Year campaign.
Carvin Fish returns for his sophomore season after finishing third on the team in scoring and first in rebounds as a first-year. The Cougars return 11 student-athletes from the 2024-25 roster while adding six first-year students and three transfer students.
The Saints are coming off a 9-16 overall record and a 5-11 mark in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. CSS returns its top scorers: Koy Nelson, who averaged 13.0 points per game, and Aaron Keykal, who averaged 12.9 points per game. Keykal also led the team in rebounds with 208. Head Coach Jared Drake enters his first season with the Saints.
