Carvin Fish has been named the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Athlete of the Week for the period of Nov. 24–30, as announced Tuesday, Dec. 2.
Fish played a pivotal role in the Cougars' 88-81 comeback win over Martin Luther College last week. The sophomore forward scored 20 points in the second half to finish with a career-high 32 points in the nonconference victory. He shot 11-for-13 from the field, was a perfect 2-for-2 from behind the arc, and went 8-for-9 at the free throw line. Fish also added seven rebounds, three steals, and one block.
The men's basketball team is back in action on Saturday when they host Oak Hills Christian College at 1 p.m.
