Four Women’s Swimming & Diving Athletes Earn Academic All-District Honors

MORRIS, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Morris women's swimming & diving team had four athletes named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team® this Tuesday. Abby Doyle, Rita Erickson, Kennedy Olson, and Lilly Radintz represent the Cougars for this academic achievement that highlights both their successes in the pool and in the classroom. 

Doyle, a senior from Woodbury, Minn., will graduate this spring from Minnesota Morris with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry while boasting an impressive 3.96 GPA. She competed for the Cougars for four years, wrapping up this season with top 10 finishes at the Liberal Arts Championships (LACs) in the 200 freestyle relay, 400 medley relay, 400 IM, 200 medley relay, 1650 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, and the 400 freestyle relay.

Erickson is a sophomore from Mora, Minn., and is studying Psychology while also in the LADC Program. She holds a 3.57 GPA after her two years at Minnesota Morris. Erickson finished top 10 in the following events at LACs; 800 yard freestyle relay, 400 yard medley relay, 1650 yard freestyle, and the 400 yard freestyle relay.

Olson, a sophomore from Moorhead, Minn., holds a 3.92 GPA and is studying Exercise Science with a concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy. She finished her season with multiple podium appearances at LACs including as a member of the 200 yard freestyle relay team that took third, a fifth place finish in the 400 yard IM, and a sixth place finish in the 200 yard butterfly. Olson also earned top 10 finishes in the 800 yard freestyle relay, the 200 yard medley relay, and the 400 yard freestyle relay. 

Radintz hails from St. Michael, Minn. and is a senior on the women's swimming & diving team. She holds a 3.71 GPA and will graduate this spring with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Biology. Radintz was a huge part of the Cougars' success at LACs this year as a part of 800 yard freestyle relay (second place), the 200 yard freestyle relay (third place), and the 400 yard freestyle relay (third place) that all took the podium. Radintz also took the podium individually in the 50 yard freestyle and the 200 yard freestyle, finishing sixth and fourth respectively. She also earned top 10 finishes in the 200 yard medley relay and the 100 yard freestyle. 

The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Swimming & Diving Teams recognize the nation's student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom which means they must have a 3.50 minimum GPA. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes swimming & diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
