Six Cougars Score at Rider Bolstorff Invitational

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Ahead of the UMAC Outdoor Championships, the University of Minnesota Morris Track & Field teams traveled to Macalester College to compete in the Roder Bolstorff Invitational. Five individuals and one relay scored on the day, with the men's 4x100m relay team finding a place in the record books for their performance. 

Competing for the men's team, Hayden Charboneau scored points in both the 110m Hurdles and the 400m Hurdles with seventh place finishes in both events. In the 110m Hurdles, Charboneau crossed the finish line with a time of 16.66 and finished the 400m Hurdles with a time of 1:05.07. Izayah Boss finished seventh in the 200m with a time of 22.83 to score for the Cougars. Noah Johnson was the final individual to score on the men's side, finishing with a time of 4:21.64 in the 1500m to place sixth. The 4x100m Relay team of Sam Gifford, JT Garza, Bryson Drake, and Boss ran a collective time of 43.51 to take third overall and climb their way to sixth overall in school history. 

On the women's side for Minnesota Morris Amaya Willis and Jordan Ohman-Bjork were the lone Cougars to score, both earning their points in the Discus Throw. Willis launched a toss of 37.50m (123-00) to take fourth on the day while Ohman-Bjork threw 37.04m (121-06) to take sixth overall.
