MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's and women's golf teams will travel to Becker, Minn., for the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Preview. This one-day tournament will be held on the same course—Pebble Creek Golf Club—as the UMAC Championship on October 2.

The tournament is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday.

Last week, the Cougars competed at the Twin Ports Collegiate in Superior, Wis. The men's team placed 10th, with
Mathias Warrington leading the way, finishing 21st with a score of 155 (+11). On the women's side, the team finished eighth, led by
Bailey Broich, who posted a 195 (+51) to place 26th overall.

The men will have two teams compete at the UMAC Preview. Team one will have Warrington,
Aaron Nack,
Peyton Mithun,
LeRoy Staples-Fairbanks IV, and
Jacob Steinmetz and team two will consist of
Gabe Long,
Gaven Brown,
Alexander Munson,
Nick Thompson and
Brandon Brown.

The women will bring one team of five consisting of Broich,
Gianna Klarenbeek,
Kiri Hill,
Kaylie Schmitz, and
Fiona Jiang.Â
