MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's and women's golf teams will compete in a midweek tournament on Tuesday. The Cougars will tee off at 11 a.m. at the Knights Fall Invite, held at Dacotah Ridge Golf Course in Morton, Minn.

The Cougars recently competed at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Preview. The men's team finished fifth overall, while the women placed seventh.
Mathias Warrington led UMM, carding a 77 (+5) to finish tied for 13th on the men's side.
Bailey Broich is continuing her impressive first year with Minnesota Morris; she shot a 101 (+29) at the UMAC Preview to tie for 23rd.

This will be the first time the Cougars compete at Dacotah Ridge Golf Course.

The men's team will bring 10 athletes, competing in two teams. Team One includes Warrington,
Aaron Nack,
Peyton Mithun,
LeRoy Staples-Fairbanks IV, and
Jacob Steinmetz. Team Two consists of
Gabe Long,
Gaven Brown,
Alexander Munson,
Nick Thompson, and
Brandon Brown. All 10 golfers also competed last week at the UMAC Preview.

The women's team will bring six golfers, forming one team of five and one individual competitor. Representing Minnesota Morris are Broich,
Gianna Klarenbeek,
Sonja Habedank,
Kaylie Schmitz,
Fiona Jiang, and
Kiri Hill.
