Warrington leads UMM at BLC Invite

HUTCHINSON, Minn.–The University of Minnesota Morris men's golf team competed at the Bethany Lutheran College Invite on Friday, placing fifth overall in Hutchinson, Minn. Mathias Warrington led the Cougars with a score of 76 (+5), finishing tied for 12th.
 
The University of Northwestern took first place with a team score of one over par. Jakob Swanson and Shane Seiffert, both from UNW, tied for the individual title with scores of four under par.
 
Minnesota Morris's B team finished sixth overall, while the top team placed fifth out of six when only primary team scores were considered. Warrington continues to pace the Cougars, securing a 12th-place individual finish.
 
A highlight of the day came on hole 16, where LeRoy Staples-Fairbanks IV recorded a hole-in-one.
