BUFFOLA LAKE, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's golf team placed fifth at the Martin Luther College Fall Invitational on Saturday in Buffalo Lake, Minn.
Jacob Steinmetz led the Cougars with a 12th-place individual finish.
Bethany Lutheran College captured the team title with a score of 291 (+3). Carson Besonen of the University of Northwestern won the individual title, shooting a 69 (-3). The Cougars posted a team score of 317 (+29), just seven strokes behind third place.
Steinmetz paced UMM for the first time this season, carding a 76 (+4) to take 12th overall.
