MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris softball team has announced its 2026 schedule. The Cougars will play 34 games, including nine home contests at the Morris Softball Complex.
 
The season begins on Feb. 21, when the Cougars will compete in four games at the Mankato Dome. Minnesota Morris opens against St. Catherine University, followed by Gustavus Adolphus College. Action continues the following day with a 10:30 a.m. matchup against Saint Mary's University, before the trip concludes with a game against Hamline University.
 
The Cougars will have two weeks off before traveling to Hawaii for their spring break trip. On March 9, UMM will face Kenyon College and Chapman University, followed by matchups against La Roche University and Occidental College on March 10. After an off day, the Cougars return to action against Dickinson College and La Roche University. On the final day of competition, UMM will play Occidental College and Dickinson College one last time.
 
Upon returning to the continental United States, Minnesota Morris will play Whittier College on March 16 in Whittier, Calif. The road trip continues in La Verne, Calif., with a matchup against the University of La Verne. The Cougars will play two games on each day.
 
Upper Midwest Athletic Conference play begins soon after. On March 20, UMM travels to Crown College for a three-game series, beginning with a single game Friday at 4 p.m., followed by a doubleheader Saturday starting at 1 p.m. The following weekend marks the home opener, as the Cougars host Bethany Lutheran College on March 27–28.
 
Breaking from the regularly scheduled dates and times, Minnesota Morris travels to North Central University for a doubleheader on April 1 starting at 1 p.m., with the final game of the series taking place April 2 at 11 a.m.
 
The Cougars return home for their next series against the University of Northwestern, with one game on April 10 and two games on April 11. The following week, UMM plays its final regular-season road series at Martin Luther College on April 17–18.
 
Minnesota Morris will host its final conference series beginning with a 4 p.m. game on May 1 against the University of Wisconsin–Superior. The regular season concludes on May 2 with a doubleheader against the Yellowjackets, starting at 11 a.m.
