BECKER, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris women's golf team finished sixth at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Championship. The three-day tournament was held at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker, Minn.
 
The University of Northwestern won the event with a team score of 968, finishing 73 strokes ahead of second place. Bri Brandt of Northwestern won the individual title after carding a 234 (+18).
 
The Cougars placed sixth overall, with Merill Wiley leading the team. Her best round of the tournament came on the second day, when she carded a 110 (+38). The team's best performance came in the opening round. Kaylie Schmitz recorded the best round for UMM on the final day, carding a 114 (+42).
