MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's basketball team has announced its 2026-27 schedule. The Cougars will play 25 games, including 11 home games at James Gremmels Court. Head Coach Paul Grove begins his 25th season leading the UMM men's basketball program.
 
The Cougars open the season on Nov. 7 in Dubuque, Iowa, against Loras College with a 5 p.m. tipoff. The following day, UMM stays in Dubuque to face Bethel University, with the contest starting at 1 p.m.
 
Minnesota Morris continues its road schedule against Concordia College (Minn.) and the College of St. Scholastica on Nov. 11 and 13, respectively. The Cougars host their first game of the season on Nov. 16 against Trinity Bible College, with a 6:45 p.m. tipoff. Four days later, UMM hosts No. 10 Gustavus Adolphus College for a 7 p.m. Friday night game. The Cougars close out nonconference play on Nov. 24 when they travel to Augsburg University for a 7 p.m. contest.
 
Minnesota Morris begins Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) play on Dec. 2. This season, each team in the conference will play every other team three times. Conference games will be played on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with Wednesday games starting at 6:45 p.m. and Saturday games at 2:45 p.m. The Cougars open conference play at Bethany Lutheran College with a 6:45 p.m. tipoff.
 
Minnesota Morris hosts a pair of UMAC games on Saturday, Dec. 5, and Wednesday, Dec. 9. The Cougars will host North Central University and the University of Northwestern, respectively. On Dec. 16, UMM travels to Martin Luther College for a 6:45 p.m. contest before closing out the 2026 calendar year by hosting Crown College at 2:45 p.m.
 
The Cougars will play an exhibition game on Dec. 30 against Division I University of North Dakota at 8 p.m.
 
UMAC action resumes on Jan. 2 at the University of Wisconsin-Superior with a 4:45 p.m. contest. The regular schedule continues with a 6:45 p.m. tipoff at Northwestern on Jan. 6. The Cougars host their first game of 2027 on Jan. 13 against Bethany Lutheran, with tipoff scheduled for 6:45 p.m. UMM hits the road for a pair of games on Jan. 16 and 20 against Crown and North Central, respectively.
 
The Cougars then begin their longest homestand of the season, with three consecutive games at home. The stretch starts against UW-Superior on Jan. 23 at 4:45 p.m. The Cougars then host Martin Luther on Jan. 27 and Northwestern on Feb. 3, with both games starting at 6:45 p.m.
 
Down the stretch, Minnesota Morris travels to Bethany Lutheran for a 2:45 p.m. tipoff on Feb. 6. The Cougars then return home to host North Central at 6:45 p.m. on Feb. 10. Minnesota Morris travels to Martin Luther and UW-Superior on Feb. 13 and 17, respectively. The Cougars wrap up the regular season by hosting Crown on Feb. 20 at 2:45 p.m.
