Men’s Swim and Dive Sets Four More Records on Day Three of the LACs

RACINE, Wis. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's swim and dive team set four more program records on the third day of the Liberal Arts Championships in Racine, Wis.
 
The day began with preliminaries, where Ethan Bad Heart Bull recorded the first program record in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 54.02. Finals started with the 400-yard IM, where Austin Dunn set a program record with a time of 4:25.25, placing seventh. In the 200-yard freestyle, Ben Caron finished fifth overall.
 
Dillon Thorstad recorded his first individual program record of the meet in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 58.79. In the 100-yard backstroke, John Gulon placed sixth. To close out the day, UMM set one more record in the 200-yard medley relay with the team of Dunn, Sam Oster, Caron, and Thorstad.
 
The Cougars wrap up the LACs tomorrow (Saturday), with events starting at 10 a.m.
