MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris women's tennis team travels to Minneapolis, Minn., for a 4:30 p.m. match with St. Catherine University on Saturday.
Minnesota Morris has had a tough start to the 2026 season, playing three Division II schools, with another opponent being ranked. Last week, the Cougars played the University of Minnesota Crookston and Bemidji State University.
Kristen Müller won the most singles games for UMM against Bemidji State, while
Avery Davis and
Katelyn Money took two games in their doubles match.
St. Catherine enters with a 2-1 record after defeating Northwestern College 5-2 in its last match. Head coach Ben Hageseth has been with the program since the 2007 season. Ashley King and Ryanna Steinhause, the No. 3 and No. 5 players, respectively, have each started the season 3-0. In doubles, the Wildcats have lost only one set.
