BEMIDJI, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris women's tennis team fell in two nonconference matches, 7-0, to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and Bemidji State University Saturday in Bemidji, Minn.
In the opening match against UW-River Falls, the team of
Jhazlyn Wynne and
Katelyn Money won two games in their doubles match. In singles play, Katherine Kelm,
Avery Davis, and Wynne led the team with three game wins each.
Mariah Mireles and Money each won two games.
Against Bemidji State, the Cougars started with the pairs of Mireles and Davis, and Wynne and Money, who each won two games in doubles play. In singles action, Mireles totaled four game wins. Davis followed with two game wins, while Kelm, Wynne, and Kristen Müller each won one game.
The Cougars return to action on March 9, when they will compete in five matches in Orlando, Fla.
