MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris women's track & field team concluded its largest meet of the season at the Gopher Classic on Saturday in Minneapolis, Minn.
In the track events,
Sylvia Pesch made her season debut in the 3,000 meters, placing ninth. In the 60-meter hurdles,
Lilly Ronholdt set a new personal best with a time of 11.54 seconds.
Nibras Luqman and
April Knight each recorded personal bests in the 60 meters.
Amaya Willis represented the Cougars in the field events, competing in the weight throw. The sophomore recorded a distance of 14.75 meters to finish 14th, besting four Division II athletes.
The Cougars return to action next Saturday at the CSB+SJU Invitational.
