Box Score 3 ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of Minnesota Morris women's tennis team finished its matches in Orlando, Fla., dropping three matches to Wheaton College, Loras College, and Saint Mary's College.
Against Wheaton,
Jhazlyn Wynne and
Avery Davis won a game in doubles. In singles,
Katharine Kelm won a team-high four games at No. 4. Wynne took three games at No. 3,
Mariah Mireles won two games at No. 2, and
Kristen Müller won a game at No. 1.
On Thursday, the Cougars started their day against Loras. The team of Müller and Mireles won a game as the No. 1 pair. In singles, Davis and Kelm led the team with five game wins each, including four in one set. Wynne and Mireles each earned a game win.
The trip concluded later that day against Saint Mary's. Müller and Wynne, playing as the No. 1 doubles team, won a game. Wynne then followed with four singles game wins at No. 3. Davis and Kelm each took a game as well.
The Cougars play next on March 21 in a nonconference match against the University of Northwestern in White Bear Lake, Minn., starting at 5:30 p.m.
