ST. PAUL, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's track & field team completed its final meet before the postseason at the Rider/Bolstorff Invite on Saturday in St. Paul, Minn.
Daniel Decory competed in the first event for the Cougars, placing seventh in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
Hayden Charboneau also finished seventh, running a season-best time in the 110-meter hurdles. In the 100 meters,
Jerome Thomas III placed 10th with a time of 11.32.
Ethan Lauritsen and
Jaxon Dalman each recorded personal records in the 800 meters. In the 200 meters,
Juan "JT" Garza III finished ninth after setting a new personal record.
In the field events,
Thomas Finneran-Flyckt recorded a personal best in the javelin, earning an eighth-place finish for UMM.
Greg Ohman led the Cougars in the shot put with a throw of 12.27 meters, placing 14th. He also finished 14th in the discus with a throw of 40.14 meters.
The Cougars will compete next week at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Championships in Superior, Wis.
