ST. PAUL, Minn. – Olivia Losee of the University of Minnesota Morris softball team was named Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Player of the Week for the period of March 30–April 5, as announced Tuesday, April 7.
 
This is Losee's first time earning UMAC Player of the Week honors. In the Cougars' sweep over North Central University, the senior outfielder posted a .545 batting average. In the series opener, Losee went 3-for-5 at the plate with two doubles and a triple while driving in three runs. Over the series, she totaled six runs, four RBIs, two doubles, two triples, three stolen bases, and drew three walks.
 
The softball team returns to action on April 10, hosting the University of Northwestern at 4 p.m.
