ST. PAUL, Minn. – Jordan Ohman,
Siri Overturf, and
Kat Placido of the University of Minnesota Morris women's track and field team were named to the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) All-Conference Teams, as announced Wednesday, May 6.
Ohman was named UMAC Field Athlete of the Meet after winning both the hammer throw and discus. This is her second consecutive year winning the discus, with a mark of 38.99 meters, and she threw 43.09 meters in the hammer throw. Ohman also scored in the shot put and javelin, placing fifth and seventh, respectively.
This is Overturf's second time earning UMAC All-Conference honors. In back-to-back seasons, Overturf finished second in the hammer throw. At the 2026 UMAC Championship, she recorded a throw of 41.59 meters. Overturf also competed in the discus, where she threw 24.95 meters.
Placido rounded out the podium for the Cougars in the hammer throw, as Minnesota Morris recorded the top five throws in the event. This is Placido's first time earning UMAC All-Conference honors in outdoor track and field, but her second time receiving the recognition after the indoor track and field championship. Placido threw 40.42 meters in the hammer throw to earn the honors.
Ohman was also named to the UMAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
