MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris Golf teams kick off the 2026-27 season on Tuesday as they compete at the Northwestern Invite in St. Michael, Minn., at Fox Hollow Golf Club.
 
Head coach Mike Weatherly enters his second season leading both programs.
 
On the men's side, the Cougars return three athletes—Gaven Brown, Jacob Steinmetz, and Peyton Mithun—who all represented UMN Morris at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Championship. The Cougars added four new members to the roster.
 
On the women's side, the Cougars have four returning members who competed at the UMAC Championships: Bailey Broich, Kaylie Schmitz, Gianna Klarenbeek, and Fiona Jiang. Broich led the team during her first season with the program. The Cougars added five new members.
