BECKER, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris women's golf team placed sixth at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Preview on Thursday at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker, Minn.
 
The University of Northwestern, won the event after shooting 28-over par, 22 strokes better than second-place Bethany Lutheran College. Bri Brandt of UNW won the individual title after carding a 77 (+5).
 
Minnesota Morris placed sixth among conference teams. Merill Wiley led the Cougars, carding a 111 (+39) to finish 25th. Fiona Jiang recorded two pars on the course, the most on the team, while Gianna Klarenbeek had one.
