MOORHEAD, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's cross country team finished third at the first Cougar Twilight Invite on Friday in Morris, Minn.
The University of Wisconsin-Superior won the meet with a team score of 18, with its five scoring runners taking five of the top six positions. Winning the individual title was Maverick Hoogland with a time of 20:18.0.
Noah Johnson led the Cougars with a time of 23:44.2, placing 13th. The Cougars finished third as a team, with
Xander Zuech and
Daniel Decory rounding out the top three UMM finishers, placing 19th and 21st, respectively.

The Cougars compete next weekend at the St. Olaf Invite on Saturday in Northfield, Minn.
