SUPERIOR, Wis. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's golf team placed sixth at the two-day Twin Ports Collegiate in Superior, Wis.
 
The Cougars finished day one tied for eighth but improved two places to finish sixth. The University of Wisconsin-Superior won the event, carding 22 over par. Andrew Slatten of UW-Superior won the individual title, shooting one under par.
 
As a team, Minnesota Morris shot 17 strokes better on day two. Kaden Burshiem and Alexander Munson led the team, each carding a 155 (+11). In Burshiem's second round, he shot one under par with three birdies. Jack Boos rounded out the top three, one stroke behind Munson and Burshiem.
