Why I chose Minnesota Morris: "
I originally came to Morris because I was recruited to swim on the Swimming and Diving Team. However, in the spring of my freshman year I decided to join the Track and Field team. Participating on this team has been one of the highlights of my college experience and I am so thankful that my coaches were willing to give me a shot in this sport."

I had several past teammates who were participating on the Swimming and Diving team when I made the decision to come to Morris.
2016-17: Freshman season ... In Montana's freshman year she made her presence felt right away. At the Liberal Arts Championship she broke four school records starting with the 500 free which she placed 10th in, then the 100 back where she was on the podium in 4th place, and she broke the 1000 free and the 1650 free in the same race by going 11:19.06 in the first 1000 of her mile and then finishing the mile in 9th place overall. On relays she helped the 400 Medley relay finish in 6th place, the 200 Medley was 8th place and in the 800 Free relay which also broke the school record they finished in 3rd place. She also put her name all over the Cougar Top Twenty list in the 200 free 12th, in the 500, 1000, and 1650 she is 1st, 100 back 1st, 200 back 5th, 200 IM 15th and in he 400 IM 15th.
