Jalen Voss enters his fourth season with the Minnesota Morris Cougars in 2019-20. He currently serves as the assistant men’s basketball coach and the head coach of the men’s tennis program
After serving as the head coach of the women’s tennis program for two seasons, Voss is in his second season as the head coach of the men’s program.
As the men’s basketball assistant coach, Voss’ duties include: recruiting, scouting of opponents and player development.
Outside of Cougar Athletics, Voss works for Midwest Elite Basketball directing satellite camps all around MN, SD, ND, IA and NE. He also works at Camp Laurel in Readfield, Maine, as the head of the basketball program - roles there include coordination and planning of the basketball program, and basketball instruction of 200 campers daily.
The Worthington, Minnesota, native was a four-year starter on the men's basketball team at Dakota Wesleyan University where he was a three-time NAIA All-American, and was inducted into the Dakota Wesleyan University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2019.
In 2014-15, Voss was the Great Plains Athletic Conference Player of the Year and led the Tigers to the NAIA Division II national championship game.
Voss graduated from Dakota Wesleyan University in 2015 with a degree in sports management and a minor in coaching.
